Celebrating its 25th anniversary,
SADC Pontiac creates new business award
The 2010 Innovative Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
SADC Pontiac awarded two $1,000 prizes for professional communications and marketing services as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations to reward entrepreneurial initiatives from young, talented entrepreneurs in the Pontiac. This year’s winners are business owners that have been recognized as entrepreneurs who stand out in their professional life through their creativity, leadership and ingenuity.
The SADC Pontiac would like to congratulate the following entrepreneurs for winning the 2010 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award:

Ray Bretzloff, owner of Pure Life Adventures
Pure Life Adventures was founded in the spring of 2008. The owner, Ray Bretzloff, is trained and experienced in fields such as canoeing, mountain biking, wilderness medicine, rescue, corporate and group facilitation. Ray is a fourth generation Bretzloff to live in the Pontiac and with that longevity comes pride. “I’d like to extend the beauty and hospitality of the Pontiac to visitors in the hopes that they’ll appreciate what I experience every day.”
Pure Life Adventures has become known as an increasingly popular option for outdoor guided adventure travel, group facilitating and adventure program consulting.

Graham Therens and Jan Von Taube, owners of The Green Force Initiative Inc.
The Green Force Initiative Inc. (GFI), offers alternative energy solutions for home, business, commercial and institution. GFI is a complete alternative energy company specializing in designing and installing solar and geothermal systems. The company also sells and installs solar panels and wind turbines. Both Graham & Jan graduated and moved to Alberta to gain work & life experience. They returned to Pontiac in 2008 and started The Green Force Initiative Inc., in 2009. GFI’s mission is to help their customers become self-sufficient in a way that benefits the environment.
